Drug Screen

A drug screen, also known as a drug test, is a technical analysis of a biological sample to determine the presence of drugs or their metabolites. The sample can be urine, blood, hair, saliva, sweat, or oral fluid. The purpose of a drug test is to identify drug use and misuse, such as using illegal drugs or taking prescription drugs in an incorrect way.

TB Testing

Tuberculosis (TB) is detected using two types of tests: TB skin tests (TST) and TB blood tests. The TST, also known as the Mantoux tuberculin skin test, involves injecting a small amount of tuberculin into the skin on the lower arm. The patient returns to the provider within 48 to 72 hours to have the provider read the reaction on the arm. The result is based on the size of the raised, hard area or swelling. The TST requires two visits with a health care provider.

Background Checks

A background check is a process a person or company uses to verify that an individual is who they claim to be, and this provides an opportunity to check and confirm the validity of someone’s criminal record, education, employment history, and other activities from their past. The frequency, purpose, and legitimacy of background checks vary among countries, industries, and individuals.
